Die Kompakt-Konzert-Reihe des hr-Sinfonieorchesters zur Afterwork-Zeit für alle, die anregende Konzertmomente lieben und es eher kurz und knackig mögen. Ideal auch für Klassik-Einsteiger*innen.
Präsentiert werden populäre Meisterwerke und auch die exquisiten Solist*innen des hr-Sinfonieorchesters sind dabei im Sendesaal des Hessischen Rundfunks näher kennenzulernen.

Peter Tschaikowskys berühmte »Schicksals-Sinfonie« sowie ein packendes Konzert des »Paganini des Kontrabasses« bietet dabei der Saison-Auftakt. Im zweiten Programm begegnet das virtuose 1. Hornkonzert des jungen Richard Strauss einer unbeschwerten Schubert-Sinfonie und einer märchenhaften Ouvertüre Mendelssohns über die Schöne Melusine. Und das dritte Quick & Classy vereint das berühmte Klarinettenkonzert des Wiener Klassik-Meisters Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart mit der von Freude kündenden »Rheinischen Sinfonie« des deutschen Romantikers Robert Schumann.

The compact concert series of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony at after-work time for all those who love stimulating concert moments and like it rather short and crisp. Also ideal for classical music beginners.
Popular masterpieces will be presented and the exquisite soloists of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony will be introduced in the broadcasting hall of Hessischer Rundfunk. Peter Tchaikovsky's famous »Symphony of Fate« and a thrilling concerto by the »Paganini of the double bass« kick off the season. In the second program, the
virtuoso Horn Concerto >No. 1 by the young Richard Strauss meets a light-hearted Schubert Symphony and a fairy-tale overture by Mendelssohn about Melusine the Fair.
And the third Quick & Classy combines the famous Clarinet Concerto by Viennese classical master Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with the joyous »Rhenish Symphony« by German Romantic composer Robert Schumann.
